New Gallery partners for 'in'

Outside IN was the pilot phase for DASH’s wider visual arts programme ’in’. In 2012 to 2015 the DASH will be partnering with five galleries and commissioning five Disability Arts practitioners.

DASH's Disability Film Festival - October 25th - 28th Inclusive

Open Studios Exhibition at DASH

Eight paintings, by Artwork from Jan Parry - 2 abstracts in acrylic, Jean Green - watercolour of three peppers, Jamila Walker - digital image of landscape and butterflies in a jar, Charyn Frances - seascape in oil ,Jan Ireland - seashells on a beach in acrylic,  Daphne Dunkasson - rough sea in acrylic and Ann Patterson - seascape in oil.

DASH took part in Shrewsbury Open Studios this year, July 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th and 10th. What a great response we got from artists old and new submitting their artworks for the SPACE. Below are some photos of the exhibition.

The Wish Tree workshop at DASH

Wish tree gold star decoration, with colourful braid.

On the 29th November 2010 Disabled Artist, Andromeda Heightz, with the help of Hartley Day Centre service users, created a beautiful Wish Tree at DASH. DASH artists and visitors are welcome to add their wishes anytime.

The First UK Disability Film Festival

DASH, one of the UK’s leading Disability Arts organisations, supported by ScreenWM, are proud to present the 1st UK Disability Film Festival Day on the International Day of Disabled People: 3rd December 2010.

The Festival is also supported by Oska Bright, the Media Archive for Central England (MACE), The Eveson Charitable Trust, The Elmley Foundation and the BBC.

Back by popular demand... Visual Arts Workshops at DASH

DASH @ HOME - a series of Visual Arts Workshops - FREE and open to all
