Cultivating spaces for extraordinary artists


Artist Alistair Gentry will be creating work in the galleries at Tate Liverpool using reproductions of artworks from the Tate Collection. His paintings will explore the disabled people who are absent in the canon of western art. We invite you to watch the process in action. Alistair’s intervention is part of We Are Invisible We Are Visible.

We Are Invisible We Are Visible (WAIWAV) is an intervention by d/Deaf, Disabled or Neurodivergent artists based on Dada/ Surrealism/ Disability art.

It takes place in 31 Plus Tate organisations across the UK on 2 July 2022.
