Engagement Curator
£25,627 to £30,497

Full time • Permanent (Flexible working considered)

John Hansard Gallery are looking to appoint an Engagement Curator, who will be a key member of our Engagement & Learning team. The role will assist in the delivery of our acclaimed and innovative programme for schools, colleges, community groups, young people, families, adults, and older people.

The Engagement Curator will co-ordinate a range of projects with children and young people, including Space to Create!, our family-friendly programme. They will support apprenticeships, internships and traineeships. They will manage our off-site programme of artist commissions and residencies and feed into new commissioning models for collaborative practice.

Communities Curator
£25,627 to £30,497

John Hansard Gallery are looking to appoint a Communities Curator, who will be a key member of our Engagement & Learning team.

The Communities Curator will co-ordinate the JHG Ambassadors Programme and help to establish the Beacons Programme for entry-level creative employees. They will generate new projects with community and artists, feeding into fresh approaches to co-creation and socially engaged practices.

For both positions, experience of working in a similar role and environment is essential, along with a good knowledge of engagement and learning within a contemporary art setting.
