Cultivating spaces for extraordinary artists

Workshop: Art and Mental Health

DAC have a really exciting workshop coming up on the 18th of August, aimed at people aged 16-30.

Everyone will experience mental health issues at some point in their lives. It's important we know how to safely make art about our personal experiences.

What would a Map of Your Life look like? If your life were a film, what songs would make up Your Official Soundtrack?

Anyone of any art form can join.

Image shows a dark stage set with coloured light blocks spread around. A table with two chairs in the centre and a man wearing dungarees standing behind the table.

This month's Youth Arts Meeting is a workshop packed full of tips, tricks, and tools on how to make autobiographical art about mental health safely, and enjoyably.

Delivered by Nye Russell-Thompson from DAC and StammerMouth theatre, and 'CHOO CHOO: You Are Not Your Thoughts' director, Nerida Bradley.
