Corinne: The Severed Wing

'The Severed Wing' by Corinne will be screened at the Art as Refuge 2025 Conference.

Performed entirely from bed, this poetic live art performance commissioned by The Lowry explores chronic illness, disability, and isolation. Through immersive sound, projection, and multiple camera feeds, the audience will witness Corinne transform into a bird and escape confinement – a powerful reflection on resilience, creativity, and belonging. ​​​​​​​
