Cultivating spaces for extraordinary artists

DASH Trustee Retires

This September sees Jonathan Hyams step down from the DASH Board of Trustees after 12 years, although he has been involved with DASH for much longer.

During this time Jonathan has played a key part on the Board, including taking on the roles of Secretary and Chair.

Jonathan has worked in community development, equality, diversity and anti-discrimination issues as a practitioner, mentor and trainer for more than twenty-five years.

His wide experience of community and voluntary organisations, partnership work, research and consultancy, and his depth of knowledge in anti-discriminatory practice has proved invaluable to DASH. His kindness and sense of humour made him a pleasure to work with.

Paula Dower, Operations Director, says “Jonathan has been like a foundation stone of the organisation, his support and mentoring over the years has been vital to my wellbeing and that of the DASH team, he will be greatly missed”

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jonathan for all his hard work and dedication to DASH and Disability Arts and wish him all the very best for the future, from the staff team and board.
