… to disability justice now
... to disability justice now took place on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025. The event was hosted online by Tangled Art + Disability, in partnership with DASH, as part of our international work.
It coincided with Tangled's Autumn Exhibition This Body Keeps Me Up At Night: 30 Years of Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha.
The audience joined a panel discussion with Leah Lakshimi Piepzna-Samarasinha and disabled and neurodivergent artists Annanda DeSilva, Wy Joung Kou, and Gem Hall, as they talked about becoming artists as disability justice was emerging, and making disabled disability justice artwork now.
Audiences in both the UK and Canada were invited to:
‘Hang out with us as we talk about the current state of DJ art, the future giant challenges we imagine and big dreams we desire to manifest.’
*Recording available soon*
