ARC Artist-Curator Opportunity

Art Riot Collective (ARC) are seeking a visual artist living in or around Coventry who is interested in pursuing a curatorial practice fellowship.

This is an in-person residency with the potential of being based at Art Riot studio in Coventry.

The artist will have the opportunity to explore what is involved in producing an exhibition from research stage through to installation in a way that is meaningful to them in shaping their own practice as a curator.

Art Riot Collective are looking for an artist who faces barriers to participation in the art world as a result of Disability, Neurodivergence, a long-term health condition or other physiological, cognitive, sensory or communication barriers, or intersections of these states of being.

They recognise the diversity of lived and creative experiences among people who identify with the above description.

Art Riot Collective understands anyone can identify as having barriers to participation if they feel disabled by systems, structures and environments of the art world.

They encourage applications from artists who may not have previously considered curating or creating exhibitions before.
