Fabric Residency: Open Call
Open to artists based in the UK, Fabric are offering funding, space and dedicated time from our team to explore new ideas and support the realisation of projects.
They have a total budget of £56,000 to distribute across approximately seven projects. At least two residency places will be prioritised for artists that currently live and work in the Midlands.
They are particularly keen to hear about work led by disabled-led artists and international collaborations that already exist, where you and your collaborator(s) have an established working relationship.
Residencies will take place between April 2027 and March 2028 with set scheduled residency periods at either of our Fabric sites in Birmingham or Nottingham.
Delivery of residencies can be in consecutive blocks or individual days (within the allocated scheduled residency periods) to work around other work/life commitments.
