To conclude their digital residency initiative "Modes of Access", Kuenstler*dorf Schöppingen and the kaethe:k Kunsthaus invite you to join an online conversation exploring the intersections of digital residencies and accessibility.

Digital residencies can open access for those unable to travel, yet they raise important questions:

Can a virtual format offer the same resources and depth as a physical residency?

How do we create connections and build trust across distance?

Should digital formats be thought of as a complement rather than a replacement?

Our discussion brings together program directors from three distinct residency models to examine the opportunities and limitations of digital formats through an accessibility lens.

Their insights will be complemented by reflections from fellows who have experienced these programs first-hand, offering a nuanced perspective on what works—and what remains to be reimagined.

Participants: Ana María García Jácome, Paulina Seyfried and Gaurav Singh Nijjer / Modes of Access; Jamie Wyld / Vital Capacities; Rachel Fleming-Mulford and Mariana Lemos / DASH.

The conversation is moderated by Agustina Andreoletti.
