Newlyn Art Gallery: Open Call

Applications are now open.

Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange are creating their first group exhibition celebrating D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists who live and work across the rural South West.

They'd love to hear from you.

Who can apply?
Your main home must be in:
• Cornwall
• Devon
• Somerset
• Dorset

How to apply
Send Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange:
• Up to 6 digital images of your work or a short video.
• A short written statement or a short video.

An independent panel will select around 10 artists for the exhibition.

Exhibition dates
21 November 2026 – 1 May 2027
At Newlyn Art Gallery

Selected artists will then have a studio visit to choose the works for the exhibition.

Good to know
• It's free to apply.
• Shortlisted artists will receive £150 to help cover the cost of taking part.
