Mandy Fowler
Mandy Fowler is an independent cultural consultant, curator and producer working in contemporary visual arts with both galleries and artists.
She has a particular interest in the intersection between creativity and the human condition, and in a bringing together a plurality of creative voices from all backgrounds.
As well as having worked with DASH across a variety of their programmes, Mandy has worked with institutions such as National Portrait Gallery, National Trust, English Heritage and National Museum of Wales (Cardiff) and major Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations including Nottingham Contemporary, The Whitworth, Turner Contemporary, Modern Art Oxford and Firstsite as well as with the commercial gallery Hauser & Wirth. She has recently worked with artists Lubaina Himid (winner of the Turner Prize 2017) and John Akomfrah (winner of Artes Mundi prize 2016), developing the national tours of their work, that led to these major prize nominations and wins. She is also an Advisor for Arts Council of Wales, working across their visual arts portfolio and sits on the advisory group for New Art West Midlands.
